What you will do:
In this role, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Manage comprehensive prosthetic and orthotic patientcare.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments, design orthoses, aid in fabrication, fit and subsequently adjust orthoses.
- Formulate treatment plans, including verification of the prescription, document functional goals, and collaborate with appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Provide education and instruction on how to use orthoses.
- Follow guidelines and procedures.
- Participate in continuing education, training of residents and students, promote clinical research, and elevate the profession.
- Create and maintain a strong working relationship with all referral sources and members of the care community.
Qualifications:Â
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred) in Prosthetics and Orthotics from an accredited program.
- Certification as a Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) from a recognized certifying body.
- Strong clinical and technical skills in orthotics and prosthetics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â $75,000-$100,000
