UCSF Orthotics & Prosthetics Center | Department of Orthopaedic Surgery
The University of California, San Francisco is seeking a Director of Orthotics & Prosthetics Research at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level (In Residence Series). This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a nationally recognized O&P research program focused on advancing patient care, outcomes, innovation, and evidence-based practice. The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across UCSF, develop a productive research portfolio, secure extramural funding, mentor trainees and junior investigators, and help expand O&P research infrastructure and training opportunities.
Qualified applicants should hold a PhD (or equivalent doctoral degree) in orthotics and prosthetics, rehabilitation science, biomedical engineering, biomechanics, kinesiology, or a closely related field, with a demonstrated record of scholarship, research leadership, and commitment to O&P research and mentorship.
