Job Overview
Hospital on-call orthotic fitter to service the hospital contracts in the greater Sacramento area. Fit orthotic and prosthetic soft goods in the field and in-clinic setting. Position is full time.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and determine appropriate orthotic devices
- Fit and adjust custom and off the shelf orthotic devices
- Collaborate with practitioners to develop fitting plans
- Educate patients on proper device usage and care
- Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly
- Stay current on new fitting methods and orthotic technology
- Updated CEU’s
Qualifications
- Preferred: Certified Orthotics Fitter
- Other relevant experience: Prosthetic Assistant, Certified Orthotist, PTA, Allied Health Certificate
- Experience preferred
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
