WillowWood’s LimbLogic VS has been a popular choice with clinicians to provide patients with elevated vacuum. Now WillowWood is making this popular product even better.
The new LimbLogic features a small, Bluetooth®, low-energy fob which extends the battery life of the remote, inductive charging (no more pins to line up!), and an improved 4-hole controller design with a field-serviceable exhaust filter. The fob has been simplified for more intuitive use and is now smaller in size, yet maintains the same functionality.
As the system was being designed, we deemed it critical to maintain the same build height to allow clinicians to retrofit an existing LimbLogic VS prosthesis with the new controller. The controller’s shape was made circular for more easy cosmetic covering. The waterproof feature of the controller has not been changed in the new system as it continues to be popular with both clinicians and patients.
New to the LimbLogic product line is the LimbLogic Sleeve. The controller and sleeve work together to make an airtight, secure system. This silicone sleeve has a repositionable cuff allowing for greater sleeve longevity. Other features of the sleeve include:
- Enhanced knee flexibility
- Inner silicone cuff allows wearer to fix leaks immediately
- Repairable silicone for extended sleeve wear.
- Uses proprietary platinum-cured, medical grade silicone.
- Available in four sizes: small, medium, medium plus, and large.
