Move United is accepting applications for two of its grant programs: The SimiSleighs Foundation Athlete Grant and the Tatyana McFadden Competitor Award.
The SimiSleighs Foundation is working to bridge the gender equity gap in Olympic & Paralympic sports. The 2024-2025 Athlete Grant Program, April 2024-May 2025, helps provide tools and experiences to excel personally and professionally. Recipients are also eligible to receive financial assistance up to $10,000, which may be used to cover approved expenses related to training to represent their country at an upcoming Olympic or Paralympic Games. Applications close February 4.
Adaptive youth athletes between 4-18 years old who are planning to compete in a 2024 Move United sanctioned competition can apply for the Tatyana McFadden Competitor Award. This award provides up to $500 of travel support and is open to all Move United individual members. Applications are due by February 9.
