Jim Smith Sales Becomes Smith Global, Hires Finley

Changes are afoot at Jim Smith Sales Inc., Laurie, Missouri. The company has a new image: Smith Global, the company announced recently.

"Jim Smith Sales Inc. is poised and excited about the future," said Kyle Smith, vice president of sales. "To prepare for these exciting times, we are evaluating every aspect of our business to ensure we are prepared both internally and externally."

The company is taking a different approach to products in two arenas, Smith explained. These are: 1) to assist customers with prosthetic enhancement products, and 2) to assist customers with daily lifeactivity enhancement products to help them build relationships with patients.

Smith explained that his responsibilities involve guiding, analyzing, and ensuring that both the outside and inside sales forces and service efforts surpass customer expectations. To focus more on these tasks, Smith will no longer be managing a territory. Stuart Finley has joined the company sales team and is responsible for sales in Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado, the company announced.

"Stuart brings a successful sales and service experience background," Smith said, noting that Finley has recently worked in the podiatry industry. "I will be working with Stuart during this transition," Smith continued. "I have always enjoyed working directly with everyone and thank you for the trust and the hospitality you always provided me on my visits. I believe in order to keep in touch with our industry, it is extremely important to stay in touch with the field, which will be accomplished through traveling with our outside reps. This will provide me the time and opportunity to develop and truly lead our sales and service, as well as concentrate on future strategies."
