Nominations for the Amputee Coalition of America (ACA) Awards of
Excellence must be postmarked by April 16, the ACA announced. The
ACA Awards of Excellence program recognizes individuals who have
worked to improve the lives of people living with limb loss and
limb difference throughout the previous year. The ACA wishes to
recognize outstanding individuals in the categories of Volunteer of
the Year, Role Model of the Year, Professional of the Year,
and–new in 2007–Advocate of the Year, the organization said.
