Ron Sonntag Public Relations. (RSPR), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has promoted Patty Johnson to president and chief operating officer.
Johnson, who holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Marquette University, Milwaukee, joined RSPR in 1987, where she acts as liaison for many of the firm’s clients. Johnson has special expertise in developing public relations and marketing programs involving the O&P field, and she maintains a blog for The O&P EDGE on the oandp.com website in addition to being a member of The O&P EDGE advisory board. She also coordinates marketing and sponsorship for a variety of national and local clients and special events.
Ron Sonntag, who had been president of Ron Sonntag Public Relations since its formation in 1980, will assume the title and responsibilities of chairman and chief executive officer of the firm. He serves as account supervisor on numerous agency accounts and assists with a variety of agency clients’ public relations, advertising, and marketing activities, as well as coordinating new business efforts.
