Comprehensive Prosthetics & Orthotics (CPO), headquartered in Peoria, Illinois, has acquired DJ Peters Orthopedics, Bloomington, Illinois.
CPO, which operates several locations throughout central Illinois, will merge its current Bloomington location in the DJ Peters Orthopedics location at 908 North Hershey Road, Suite 1. CPO will remain under the clinical directorship of CPO co-owners Amit Bhanti, CPO, LPO, and Don Goertzen, CP, BOCPO, LPO. All services and care provided to current patients of DJ Peters Orthopedics will remain the same.
“Our acquisition of DJ Peters Orthopedics is a very logical and strategic step in further strengthening our lead in the central-Illinois market,” Bhanti said. “It is the intent of both companies that the transition be as smooth as possible, with patient care being our top priority. The same familiar faces will be in the Bloomington office as all employees are continuing with the new association.”
