Florida Brace, Winter Park, Florida, announced that it will close its doors December 23, 2015. The company has been in business for more than 60 years, and has been operated by the Moss family since 1964 when it was purchased by Ben Moss. Moss passed away in May 2010 at the age of 89.
“For over 50 years, Ben Moss, and now his family, have owned Florida Brace Corporation, but at this time we deeply regret having to announce the closing of the business as of the end of 2015. Thank you to all the wonderful orthotists who have supported our company and relied on our quality products and customer service over the decades…,” wrote Anne Moss Anderson, general manager. “We wish each one of you the very best in the future and again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the many years you have allowed us to serve you.”
