D&J Medical, headquartered in Forest Hill, Maryland, acquired Maryland Orthotics & Prosthetics, headquartered in Baltimore, on June 30. The acquisition expands D&J Medical’s regional coverage.
Founded by Joe Dunn and June Dunn, CFo, in 2001, D&J Medical has five offices throughout the region: Forest Hill, Towson (2), Baltimore City, and Columbia. Maryland Orthotics & Prosthetics was founded in 1981 by H. Lee Mantelmacher, CPO, and Ann Mantelmacher and includes three Maryland offices: Baltimore, Bel Air, and Westminster. All three offices will join D&J Medical. Both companies will continue to operate under their same names for the foreseeable future.
