Patient Incarcerated

Debra Adams

If a patient is currently incarcerated and is in need of prosthetic supplies/socket work, has Medicare/Medicaid, in a managed care situation, isn’t it correct that they become ineligible for benefits?  Has anyone had success in getting a PO from the jail facility to provide care?
