O & P Practitioner Population Survey

Gerald Stark

Hey my fellow O and P ListServ community members!

Happy New Year to everyone. As you may have guessed, I do have a new survey looking at the current population of O & P Practitioners serving our overall patient population.

In 2002 Nielsen projected that growth rates indicated that less than 61% of orthotic wearers and 64% of prosthetic wearers could be served by 2020. This greatly influenced how we viewed the number of schools and graduates that were needed in the future.

Looking at the profession today in 2020, I wanted to ask a number of questions examining if that need is being met, or in other ways we did not expect. It is only 5 questions should only take 3 minutes to complete…so easy!

Let me know what you think!
