Auto Insurance Denial due to Manufacture Cost Invoice Needed

Comfort Prosthetics

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to see if anyone is dealing with this issue? My claims are being denied for all my auto patients stating a Manufacture cost invoice is needed to process the claim, say for instance I bought and billed MSRP for an Ottobock X3 knee, they are unwilling to pay me unless I submit to them what I purchased the knee for, so they can turn around and pay me cost plus on the product, not considering what work I have done to fit it or program it. I am asking have you been submitting what they are requesting? if not, what have you had success with? Is this legal for them to ask me for this type of thing? As of now I have been able to dodge this and have never submitted this to them but it seems like a loosing battle at this point and am looking for some insight..

Thank You,
