Working with a patient that refuses to use foot shells. This is not the
first one to feel that way, but been playing with alternatives for years.
Most of the time a little crepe and some soling with Vibriam seems to work
well, but my current patient is a K4 bilatteral BK with Fillauer All-Pro
feet. Ive tried almost every soling out there with vibriam, but he wears
thru them in a matter of weeks, if not days.
Yesterday I redid the soling again, this time using a cut up motorcycle
rain tire. I have a feeling he is going to wear that out pretty quick due
to the soft nature of the rubber.
Has anyone found a “once and done” solution to this? Please send me some
pics of what you have done because Im doing this same job on a monthly
