Bilateral k2

What kind of experience ‘s have you had putting K3 componentry on a bilateral K2 Medicare patient. I was recently told that Medicare does not recognize the bilateral exclusion for MPK .
Does the claim automatically kick out and then you go through the usual hoops to contest the claim?

I haven’t done one of these in awhile so I’d be interested in hearing your experience’s with a claim like this .
