Dear List-serve,
With a heavy heart I am writing to you today.
One month ago I was Nepal setting the ground work for future Orthotic
and Prosthetic Humanitarian efforts. However because of the recent
Earthquakes, Nepal’s long term needs have become a short term crisis.
I don’t think I need to explain the huge about of destruction and
trauma the poor country Nepal has suffered. What you should know is
that the people of Nepal are strong and will rebuild… they just need our
help to do it. The field of Orthotics and Prosthetics returns
function to people and function is what the Nepali people need to help
themselves.
With the guidance of Paul Prusakowski and members of USISPO, we have
now solidified our plans to help this crisis. I am asking you, the O
and P community to help.

Ph.D.(abd) have started an organization called Operation Namaste to
help Nepal with its orthotic and prosthetic needs.

I have seen the O and P community come together to help in the past so
I know you will do it again. Please donate.
