Bracing design for plantar flexion weakness.

Hunt, Stephen

Good Afternoon,

I have a patient that is a nurse in her mid 30s with neurosarcoidosis and underwent a sarcoid tumor removal at the L5-S1 area. They were able to remove a majority of the tumor, and the patient has had no reoccurrence. However due to the surgery and scar tissue, she has resulting distal weakness in the right leg. Hip flex and ext is 5/5, knee ext 5/5, knee flex 4/5, DF 5/5, eversion and inversion 4/5, PF is 3/5. What are some devices that you guys have tried that have been successful for treating her lack of push off? Thank you for your time.
