Paying less than 16 an hour…

Aetna isn’t the only insurance with this issue. We can’t accept United health care because we won’t even get our costs back with their proposed rates. We tried to renegotiate the contract but there was nothing we can do. The problem is that in the long run the ones who will truly suffer is the patients. They will suffer when they can’t find a doctor who will accept them as a patient. This is already happening with Florida Medicaid. What is the sense of expanding coverage when the patients still can’t get health care? Paula Martinek, LPO
