We have a physician prescribing a CROW style AFO. Her diagnoses are neuropathy and tarsometatarsal joints fractures. He wants her in a brace that will position her for healing and keep her mobile. She has a diagnosis from another physician (not this one) that says possible Charcot. Not using the Charcot, but the 356.9 and 838.03, can we bill with codes for a clamshell walker type AFO that will look like the old CROW codes? Any place I can look this up? Thank you,
