Good day,
I am a professor in a physical therapy program, and I teach amputee rehabilitation.
I am in the process of building components to simulate the feel of both an above and below knee prostheses, but wish I could have more examples of components for my students. The idea is that they can feel what it is like to walk on a prosthetic foot or knee, that is aligned for them, then walk on one that is aligned in all the different ways to create gait deviations. Would any of you be willing to share your old components that you don’t need anymore so that I can have the pieces to build these for my students? Any old unwanted pieces of equipment that might be perfect in the classroom?
Please email me if you have any comments, suggestions, thoughts etc: toran.macleod@csus.edu
Sincerely,
Toran
