I am curious on opinions from experience on a couple questions:
1) new compliant patient with traumatic BK amputation with skin grafts.
What are peoples best experience with suspensions and when do you all start
ambulating with skin grafts and with which suspension and do you change
suspensions after a few months?
-custom liner and vacuum? custom liner and expulsion valve? other
thoughts and reasonings?
2) another patient likes cowboy boots and/or heels. What are peoples
favorite feet currently?
-runway by freedom, accent by college park, elation by ossur,
microprocessor feet will adjust some but you then lose some of the toe
clearance features of the microprocessor, raize by fillauer, etc.
Thanks for any opinions provided. Always nice to bounce ideas off people
before just assuming I know the best answers.
