Hi all we have a patient who wants to return a prosthesis. It is out of the 90 warranty period. During the warranty period we did do the usual adjustments and follow up but after that have had no further complaints. I believe he may have contacted Medicare. 1. what is the procedure with this as far as dealing with Medicare and 2. If it comes to having to issue a refund can we do a salvage claim for the custom parts of the prosthesis? Obviously because this is out of the warranty period we’d rather not issue a refund. Thank you very much, Paula Martinek, LPO
