Dear Colleagues,
We have been asked to fabricate Pectus Carinatum orthoses for a thoracic
surgeon. I am curious as to how this device is being coded for insurances
by other facilities. Are you using a spinal procedure L code or using a
code such as L1499?
I will be happy to compile and post all responses.
