Total Contact Casting

Hello All.

I was recently asked to look into Total Contact Casting and was told by
AOPA that although it falls within our scope of practice we can’t really
bill for much more than the plaster that we use. However, they did tell me
that a hospital can contract us out and reimburse us for the service. Is
there anyone out there who has any experience with this? I have no idea
how to find out what reasonable reimbursement would be for this service
since we have no codes for it (except for our plaster bandage of course…).
