Hello List,
I have been approached by a Veterinary clinic to assess an animal and determine if prosthetic treatment is appropriate. The animal is a 6 month old cat who was found with an infection in both paws. As a result, both paws have been amputated, leaving a bulbous distal end with little padding. It is quite a calm and friendly animal and has done well with accepting soft bandage wrapping that has been used so far. It is quite mobile and walks quite a bit around the clinic. My initial seach for resources on prostheses specific to cats was quite limited. I am looking for any resources, prosthesis designs, or considerations. Please email me with any infomation or experience you may have.
Thank You.
