Hello everyone. So, there have been many interesting articles recently regarding 3D printing and prosthetic applications. We have a fairly active research/engineering community here in our hospital, and I have been bombarded with questions. I just do not know much about 3D printing and CAD design. Would you be willing to share some knowledge, resources, and/or real life experiences regarding this topic? My initial thought is that it would work really well for some prototyping and specialized devices (like what we have seen with some of the upper extremity prosthetic designs). Thank you very much for your time. I will post a summary.
