I had a client come in Friday with a prosthesis that I did not make, asking me to repair the locking mechanism.
On visual inspection it is apparent that the hole for the locking pin has worn out-of-round, allowing the pin to slip off of the clutch gear.
I do not recognize the lock in question and I cannot tell if it can be repaired without relaminating the socket. Can anyone please help me identify the manufacturer of this lock and do you know if it is repairable? It appears to have two holes for insertion of a spanner wrench, which gives me hope for a repair. The release button is covered by a skin, which is bonded into place and I do not want to rip it off unless I know that I can actually replace the lock housing.
