What is the rational that we should use when coding a fracture boot? Tall vs Short. Pneumatic vs non. True Cam Walker vs solid ankle style. The Cam Walker has seemed to go by the wayside, but we are seeing a lot of short boots with pneumatic pumps. With Medicare (I understand M/C only pays for boots for FXs) holding a gun to our heads, we want to make sure that we are not in the “grey areas”. Thanks, Allen Dolberry CPO
