Hello all,
Me and a colleague of mine are coding out 4 different HKAFO orthoses and we are at an impasse as to the proper coding for the thoracic section of the brace. I have spoken to several of my professional contacts and everyone has a little different outlook on the coding, some want to code out a complete TLSO code along with KAFO codes while othesr shy away from that opting to use the 2640,2660,2680 codes as add ons to the KAFO codes. I would just like to get a collective of what your coding for these. There are lateral uprights in the plastic and I feel most comfortable with one code in particular.
