kyphosis in 50+ y/o patients

DeAnna Clough

I would like to find out how/what orthotists are doing to provide
support/relief to those patients 50+ who present with kyphosis. What types
of TLSO’s (off the shelf and custom) have actually benefited the patient?
What TLSOs do your patient’s actually tolerate? When you utilize various
styles of TLSOs, why type of kyphosis does it manage (rigid, flexible,
anterior compression fx, etc)? Do you work with a therapist to address
stretching/strengthening/posture? I appreciate feedback on what has and has
not worked in your practice for this type of patient.

Thanks,

DeAnna
