REPLY: Technical question with duraplex and rigid rising foam

Jarrod Eccles

This is a reply to Matthew’s question about Duraflex and what to use as a
release agent.

We have years of knowledge in fabricating with Duraflex. The 2 best options
are:

PVA Bags (when forming thermoplastics over Duraflex)

Cellulose Acetate works well as a separator for his rigid foam application.

Not much stocks to Duraflex.well except Duraflex. If using a nylon it does
help it stick to poly pro or eva’s.

For best bonding results use 3M Auto Adhesive Promoter and use Poly
Adhesive.

In silicone applications use Renew Silicone Adhesive.

Thanks,
