Just wanted to let everyone know that I just received a call from Senator Sessions’ office. They received my complaint of the mail order companies, and they are very concerned and interested in the business processes of these companies.

I explained the HCPCS code fees include fitting and adjustment of the brace. His Healthcare Representative understood that this would be an impossible task for a company in New Jersey, Florida, or any other state to meet this requirement through the mail. This is indeed a billing violation for CMS.

I also explained the CMS Supplier Standard #11 concerning phone solicitation to Medicare Beneficiaries. Just letting you know, DON’T GIVE UP!
