Is anyone aware of a specific law or regulation that prohibits practices
from charging below Medicare allowable to individual patients? Assuming
that the U&C charge remains above Medicare’s allowable, is there any
legal prohibition against charging the patient full U&C, and then
discounting a certain percentage for private pay? If so, can you provide
a link to this info?
