Good afternoon,
I am part of the Houston based charity Limbs of Love, which is holding
its annual Airborne Amputee skydiving event on Saturday, April 17, 2010.
Limbs of Love will be sponsoring an event-filled weekend for a group of
Wounded Warriors as well as the amputee community to show that the sky
is the limit following amputation. All amputees will skydive free of
charge and proceeds from the event will go to Limbs of Love to provide
limbs to two deserving amputees that have lost limbs but do not have the
resources to pay for a prosthetic device. I encourage you to extend an
invitation to the event to your patients, as it is a great motivational
tool and allows amputees to socialize and enjoy the day with those that
