It is with great sadness that I am sharing the news that the industry lost a
very good man on Tuesday. David was a businessman, a CPO, and a mentor and
friend to many industry professionals.

September 29, 2009, age 70 years. Beloved husband of Lynne (nee Hupf).
Loving father of Jeff (Jemi), Lori (Dan) Barbeau, Shane Budde and Peter
(Chelsea) Budde. Step-father of Heather Muhle (Jason Karus) and Chris (Anna)
Muhle. Proud grandpa of Erin, Emily, Elissa, Natasha, Kane, Haley, Molly,
Justus, Noelle, Hannah, Claire, Emily and Abby. Dear brother of Charles
(Peggy) and Jack (Carol). Great-grandpa of Jacob. Further survived by other
relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother and
grandson.
David devoted his life’s work to providing abilities to people with
disabilities. He was the former President/CEO of ACME Laboratories and ACTRA
Rehab.
David held presidential offices in the American Orthotics and Prosthetics
Association, the American Academy of Orthotics and Prosthetics and was Vice
President of the International Association of Trade Association (INTERBOR).
