Be a part of ACA’s most requested publication! The Amputee Coalition of
America (ACA) is accepting sponsors for the fourth edition of First
Step: A Guide for Adapting to Limb Loss. This award-winning, 132 page
publication is an introduction to living life without a limb.
ACA will print 100,000 of the 2005 edition of First Step, to be
available by the end of the year. Readership for this publication is
over 400,000 amputees, caregivers, healthcare providers and
professionals. =20
There will be no ACA member facilities listed in the 2005 edition of
First Step; this is your ONLY chance of showing your support! Instead,
an alphabetical list of sponsors will be published in the back of the
publication as well.
First Step is divided into five or six sections focusing on an
individual topic of interest to amputees. The front page of each
section contains graphics and recognition of the sectional sponsors.=20
The cost to sponsor one section is $500 if paid with order by credit
card or check. Invoices are also accepted, with a 10% charge, making
each section sponsorship $550. Each organization, health care practice,
support group, or individual are welcome to purchase up to six sectional
sponsorships. =20
Sectional sponsors will receive 10 free copies, a $50 value, shipped
straight from the printers, free of charge! =20
