Hi list,
I’ve recently had several patients come to my office for a prosthesis, socket replacement, etc. I’m in region C and they’ve been from region B. When I’ve filed the claims, they were rejected because the patient was from region B not region C. They told us (palmetto) we needed to file these on paper to the appropriate region for payment. Is this a new thing or has this been happening all along? I’m interested to see if this is something that is happening in Florida too with all of the snowbirds.
