Transhumeral case

O and P List Serve:

We have a 40 years old female with a transhumeral amputation due to a MVA. She is trying to settle her case and would like to know how many prosthesis she might need during a lifetime. Is there any formula to calculate how many prostheses she might need?

She is being fitted with myo-electric transhumeral prosthesis.
