lymph drainage for AK stump

We have a 15 year old amputee that had a traumatic amputation at 1 year
old. Due to damage to the growth plates around the knee, he has a short
stump ( like a short AK Stump, 24cm). He is a big boy and he has large
stump circumference measurements. He recently went to a chiropractor for
back ache and the Chiro suggested lymph drainage massage.
I am not familiar with this and was hoping that someone had experience
with lymph drainage massage and AK stumps.
