Each Friday we send a post and salute to honor a person(s) or Hope Donor(s)
whom has made a great difference in a life.
Nikki and Tom Deupree of Suffield, Connecticut graciously donated a grant to
the Barr Foundation and its work to help rehabilitate amputees whom
otherwise would have no other financial resources.
Tom is a relatively new amputee, whom contracted a form of bacterial
meningitus .The disease cuts off circulation to the body, beginning at the
extremities.
Tom, after learning of the Barr Foundation’s work, recognized the need for
amputees to be successfully prosthetically rehabilitated.
Such “Whole Again” stories hopefully will help make your weekend and to
remind you, knowing that most of you whom became professionals and industry
providers, got into this business to help people, and that you are
accomplishing allot and are appreciated by those that you help.
