Suzanne O’Connor

I am treating a 17 month old child who is out toeing and occasionally on her
toes. I am placing her in stiff sole shoes and was wondering if twister
cables attached would help address the rotation. My experience with children this
young is they tend to squat or sit with elastic de-rotation straps.Any
thoughts or suggestions would be helpful. I do not want to over brace her at this
point. She is cruising, and attempting to take steps and is receiving PT 3
times a week. I have measured for a LLD..none exists. My only other thoughts
were shoe buttresses however she is not a good ambulator as of yet. Thanks in
advance, Suzanne O’Connor CPO LPO FAAOP
