Actually, what Mr Arnette states is not quite the complete story. According
to the ABC, along with an approved fitters course, the individiual must also
have 1000 hours of orthotic fitter experience.

1.. Pathway 3. Successful completion of an ABC approved orthotic fitter
education program (CAMP, DeRoyal, Truform/OTC) and 1,000 hours of orthotic
fitter experience..
