I have been asked by a hospital to assist the rehab department in formulating a structure or by-laws, if you will for the establishment of an orthotic prosthetic clinic. Among the topics they request input on include the selection of O & P practitioners, establishing a rotation of facilities, recruiting referral sources, and the like.
Over the years I have participated in numerous O & P clinics but I was never involved with setting one up and making it work, what do I do?
Can you suggest a source for info that would assist us, or perhaps you have a clinic format in your piles of papers.
Any assistance would be most appreciated.
