I have been contacted by the Academy regarding my request to have a
second conference on state licensure for O & P. I have been asked to
assemble a database of contact information for those individuals &
lobbyists who were successful or unsuccessful in their attempts to obtain
licensure for O & P in their respective states. It is my understanding
that there are currently ten states with O & P licensure and that at
least one (California) has not yet been successful. If you were involved
in your states O & P licensure effort and/or if you have contact
information for the lobbyist for your states licensure effort, please
e-mail this information to me at [email protected] by April 16, 2004.
I will then provide it to the Academy.
