Help With a Lay-Up

Ben

Has there been a study as to how many layers of what support what weight range and activity level? I would normally do a BK In this manner; on the first lay-up I would do 1 Carbon fiber and 2 nyglass….. for the second 2 carbon fibers and 2 nyglass. So what would the weight limits be for this sort of lay-up? It would be nice if there were some numbers one could use to figure the math out, This is totally out of the wind but say one layer of carbon is equal to 40 lbs, one layer of nyglass is good for 5 lbs, and nylon 8lbs something to that tune. Anyhow any thoughts or better yet answers would be most helpful
