What are you using for prosthetic protective coverings? We flip-flop between two of the major marketers of coverings, but find both to be less durable than our prosthetic wearers would like. We have many beach goers and swimmers, and yet we have been unable to find a durable cover or combo.

Try Skinergy Silicone covers from RSL Steeper. They are reasonably priced and resist abrasion and staining. Any sharp object can cut them, of course, so users should wear sandals or other suitable footwear where this is a risk.
Here in the UK we tend to make beach activity limbs purely from GRP
(acrylic) sockets with pedalin foam
removed from inside. It does not present as the most lifelike of structures but it certainly is durable! If you need any more info pleased drop me a line.
I am not going to say the ones I use are any more durable, but, Otto Bock sells stock # 99B116 they are a pull on style latex material available in three sizes and several color combos. The average life of any latex I have used is about nine months, these are about the same. They are less expensive and they are easily replaced.
for the bottom we have glued either 1/8 or 1/16 cats paw to protect.
Try using the Beach Bootie from PRS. I designed it with the toe and heel reinforced and it comes in 3 packs. When they wear it out, they throw it away. They are the same color choices as the skin sleeves. We can also custom reinforce any of our skin products.
