Maybe someone from AOPA can post on this list what their official stand is on the issue of NOMA seeking to become exempt from licensure in Florida and other states as well as their stand on Stock & Bills (specifically stock and bills being run by non local companies without the facilities to provide a ‘store front’ and local support as required by Medicare).
Mr. Hammontree can make statements about inaccurate statements and that people should get active..but should everyone on this list call AOPA to ask about this information? Would it not be in AOPA’s best interest to just come out now and make a position statement and avoid the hundreds of individual telephone calls, letters, and emails?
Mr. Gingras and Mr. Howell may not know what AOPA’s position is on these issues. They may have tried to get an answer from AOPA. Perhaps the answer they received was, in their opinion, a poor choice. No one know, other then those two men, one way or the other.
Simply put, would someone from AOPA please make a position statement on these topic to this list?
