We are trying to figure out how many amputations happen in our local area on a yearly basis. We were thinking that is we could search by CPT (billing) codes we might be able to find this data in some national data base. We don’t know what that might be. Does anyone out there know where we can find this information on US amputations?
The CPT codes we think would be appropriate are 27880 and 27590
