07-21-00, listserv responses, supplier of white LDPE
QUESTION:
I am looking for white LDPE (low-density polyethylene). I don’t mean what we
all use everyday, which is called natural. I mean LDPE that is pigmented
white. American Plastics of Dallas, who I buy from, tells me they never heard
of it. Anyone know where I can get it? Or if it is available at all? I need
to buy it in sheet form, 1/8″. I know it is available for injection molding.

(They don’t have it either.)
3. Yes, we have orthopedic grade, white LPDE, 1/8″. We need to know the sheet
size required and amount needed. Thanks.

You can get it from Rich Haight @ 716 424-2170 or 800 274-1000 (may be in
state only) or www.cadillacplastic.com, 3495 Winton Place Building A,
Rochester, NY, 14623. Just tell Him you want the same plastic FLO-TECH uses
for our APOPPS FLO-TECH-TOR sockets but that you need it in 1/8″ thickness.
